In this project, I utilized a traditional indigenous art style to bring attention to modern world issues. The decision to embrace this indigenous art form was motivated by a sense that indigenous people in Canada are often overlooked. Therefore, by crafting this piece and presenting it as a representation in the school's art class, my intention is not only to raise awareness about global issues but also to show respect and recognition for the Indigenous community.
